Fridays for me usually involve a nice tempo run session then after work I call into the shops to get some fresh ingredients, a bottle of vino and cook a nice meal to finish off the working week!
However this week the run wasn't so much fun as it was blowing a solid south easter, bloody cold and dark! I also had the night off cooking as my wife was craving a nice hot laksa due to the cold weather we've had lately.
My run was solo this morning with my usual running partners tucked up nicely in bed after seeing the miserable conditions, so I trudged off from the meeting place on my own headphones on and placing my mind in another place.
I completed a nice 13km run with tempo efforts at around HIM pace, sitting around 4:18 4-:20 min/k's. The hot shower and breakfast in front of the fire was wonderful after that run!
Nothing much else to report, gearing up for a nice solid weekend.
