Rest and recovery...

Monday was my usual R&R day and much enjoyed sleep in!

I was considering a double run day to make up for missing Saturday's long run, however there is no point in chasing the lost session, better to rest up and prepare for the upcoming week.

I have a nice solid week planned for the bike this week and I've tempered the running somewhat to allow me to nail the bike sessions as required. It's now time to consolidate that strength and endurance on the bike to be prepared for the 180km of time trialing in the heat and wind.
