Rest day.

Monday was my usual rest day which the body appreciated. I was considering going for a run to make up for missing my long run on Saturday, but it is no good in chasing sessions, what is gone is gone.

I am comfortable with missing the odd session if my body tells me it needs a break. I would much rather get to the start line healthy and happy than limp there tired and injured from pushing things too hard. Maybe it costs me podium positions or wins, but I still get the same amount of money that the age group winner gets.....nothing, so what is the need to sacrifice your family and health.
